This code is applicable to the structural design of buildings and structures.

Announcement on Publishing the National Standard ofLoad Code for the Design of Building Structures
The standardLoad Code for the Design of Building Structureshas been approved as a national standard with a serial number of GB 50009-2012, and it shall come into force upon October 1, 2012. Herein, provisions of3.1.2,3.1.3,3.2.3,3.2.4,5.1.1,5.1.2,5.3.1,5.5.1,5.5.2,7.1.1,7.1.2,8.1.1and8.1.2are compulsory ones and must be enforced strictly. The original GB 50009-2001Load Code for the Design of Building Structures(Version 2006) shall be abolished simultaneously.
Authorized by the Research Institute of Standard and Norms of the Ministry, this code is published and distributed by China Architecture&Building Press.
